CEO Carl Hall is expecting a stern challenge against Keighley Cougars, when the two sides meet in Kingstone Press League One on Sunday.

The Dons got back to winning ways against Hemel Stag last time out and Hall is targeting another win this weekend to maintain their top four position.

“Keighley are a good side, they knocked us out of the iPro cup early on, which we had ambitions of going on and getting to the final, we are at home but it will be a test,” said Hall.

“The Cougars are doing well, they had a difficult game against Barrow last week and they ran each other in to high scores, they have some quality players in that side.

“We have to focused on ourselves, make sure that we are prepared for a battle, on our day we can beat anyone and we need to start clicking sooner rather than later.”

The Dons have a season-defining month ahead of them with trips to Cumbrian sides Whitehaven and Workington Town, with a home game against Barrow Raiders in-between.

“The boys need to be hungry, focused and aggressive to win rugby games and we believe that we have the right personnel and we have a huge month ahead of us,” said Hall.

“They are all fighting for there places and the lads know that, it was nice to get back to winning ways against Hemel but we have to kick on now.

“The mood in the camp is good and the main thing we have to do is win, that is the most important thing and if we are doing that we are heading in the right direction.”
