The Dons cemented their place at the top of Betfred League One with a 60-0 thrashing of Hemel Stags at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Richard Horne made three changes to his side, with Aaron Jones-Bishop, Jack Miller and Charlie Martin all coming into the starting XIII.

Horne's side started the game on the front foot and had their first try within the opening two minutes, Kyle Kesik marked his 200th appearance for the club with a dart out of dummy-half, before squeezing past two defenders to score. Miller converted for 6-0.

The Dons were looking to stamp their authority early on and went in for their second when Liam Harris found Jason Tali on the left, and the centre went through a huge gap in the Hemel line to score.

The visitors started to find a rhythm after that and had a number of sets in the Dons' half, but were unable to make the most of it and were punished when an audacious pass from Hakim Miloudi found Owen to go over on the left with a quarter of the game gone.

The Dons had a fourth try two minutes before half-time, a break down the right led to a well timed pass from Miloudi finding Liam Welham to go over.

HALF-TIME | Doncaster RLFC 20-0 Hemel Stags

The Dons started the second-half in the same fashion as they did the first and had a try two minutes after the restart, as some good play from Martin down the left set Tali in for his second of the afternoon.

The points continued to flow for the home side and they had their sixth score of the game when prop-forward Zac Braham spotted a gap and barged his way over from close range for his second of the season. Miller converted to make the score 30-0.

By this point the Dons had complete control of the game, they scored again when Jason Muranka broke a tiring Hemel defence and had the pace to sprint the remaining 30 metres to score.

Hemel gifted the Dons another score on the hour mark, a stray pass was picked up by Jones-Bishop on the right and their was no stopping the winger as he raced clear to go over under the sticks. Miller converted for 42-0.

Half-back Harris got in on the act with a quarter of an hour remaining, weaving his way across the defensive line before showing and going to eventually dive over the line.

Miloudi then produced yet another moment of magic to extend the lead further, as he got on the end of his own dab through the line to score, before Owen rounded off the scoring with his second after a clever flick from Tali in the corner.
