Richard Horne was pleased with his side’s attacking intent in the 46-4 win over Coventry Bears in Betfred League One.

The Dons ran in six first-half tries at the Butts Park Arena, and the head coach was happy with their ruthless edge.

He said: “We’ve spoken about putting a run together all season, it’s good to see that happening now and we’re building some momentum.

“We can move the ball about when we’re on the front foot, we’ve got some good strike on the edge and our middles can cause problems too.

“We did well first half and got the job done, we could have been better in the second and had more possession but overall I was happy.”

Horne’s men take on London Skolars next time out as they look to consolidate their position in the play-off places.

He added: “London will provide us with a tricky test next weekend, they have some dangerous players and we need to be better and play for the full 80.

“Like most teams in this league if you give them field position they can create, they have some strong boys who carry well.

“Our all round play has to keep improving as we go along, we know each game is going to be tough so we’ll keep working.”
