Betfred League One

Keepmoat Stadium

The Dons made it five wins in a row in Betfred League One with a 38–6 victory over London Skolars at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Richard Horne made three changes to his starting XIII, as Hakim Miloudi, Jack Sanderson and Jack Logan all came into the line-up.

The Dons started the better of the two sides and opened the scoring after just four minutes, as Frankie Mariano patted the ball down for Jason Tali to fend off a defender and score. Matty Beharrell’s conversion made it 6-0.

They scored again soon after as Miloudi put the ball on a plate for Richard Owen who squeezed between two defenders to put the ball down.

Miloudi turned from provider to scorer after 11 minutes, as he glided through a gap in the London line to score and extend the Dons’ lead.

London got themselves on the board just before the half-hour mark, as Lameck Juma got on the end of a loose ball to race over the line. Neil Thorman converted to reduce the deficit further.

Normal service was resumed six minutes later as Jack Logan weaved his way inside from the right to score under considerable pressure.

The Dons scored the first try of the second-half with 50 minutes on the clock, as Connor Scott collected the ball close to the line and stretched his way over. Beharrell added the two for 26-6.

They had to wait another 20 minutes before they crossed again, as Kyle Kesik created a chance out of nothing to go over under the sticks.

Logan then crossed for his second, as he collected the ball from a scrum to race the length of the field and dive over under the sticks. Beharrell added the two for 38-6.
