Half-back Liam Harris believes that the Dons made too mistakes in the Good Friday defeat to Keighley Cougars in Betfred League One.

Harris, who played a part in all four of the tries scored by Richard Horne's men in the 26-18 defeat, says Keighley took advantage of the errors the Dons made during the tie.

He said: "It was very frustrating, we coughed up too much ball early doors and they played off on a lot of energy, as soon as we made any error they thrived upon that.

"They did the little things well that we wanted to do, they played basic football and kicked to the corners, which we wanted to do but we kept making errors and we couldn't seem to get back in to it.

"The errors came back to bite us and I think that's what happened in the second half."

It was Harris' first minutes back on the field after picking up an injury in the pre-season match between Hull FC and the Dons in February, and he admitted that he enjoyed being back on the field for the Dons.

He added: "I was steady, It was first game since I played for Hull FC against Doncaster in pre-season so I just wanted to get through the game.

"I was a little bit rusty but I thought played ok and managed to be involved for a couple of tries."
