Richard Horne wants his players to embrace the occasion when they take on Catalans Dragons in the Coral Challenge Cup sixth round this weekend.

The Dons travel to the south of France to face the holders of the competition, and Horne says they have nothing to lose.

He said: “It will be a great experience for everybody, it gives our boys a chance to play against players who they have watched performing at the top level.

“We’ll go there and give a really good account of ourselves, the pressure is on them so we need to enjoy the occasion.

“They’ve got a job to do and all the pressure is on them, if we get a result it will be a massive upset so we’ll go there with a game plan to execute.”

Despite the international stars within the Dragons’ squad, Horne believes his side can create opportunities.

He added: “We’ve done some video work on them and identified areas where we feel we can get at them if we hold onto the ball.

“We need to make sure we are good coming away from our own line, we can’t be gifting them field position.

“Hopefully we will make them work for whatever they get, if we test their skill then they might have an off day and we could profit from that.”
