Doncaster RLFC will host their annual charity match for State of Mind and Sporting Chance on Sunday August 11, when the Dons face off against London Skolars at the Keepmoat Stadium.

The Dons will be supporting State of Mind, who work closely with the RFL, and Tony Adams’ Sporting Chance clinic, both causes will have funds raised during the day with plenty of activities taking place.

The club’s annual charity game for Liam Maughan will be held during the final round of fixtures, as the Dons host Keighley Cougars on Sunday September 1.

Prior to kick-off with the Cougars, Bentley ARLFC under 7’s will face off against a fellow age group side from Keighley, and the first-team action from 3pm will be followed by the club’s annual Summer BBQ.

Dons chief executive Carl Hall said: “It was important to me, and the club, to choose the right charity for the game and with recent situations in our game regarding mental health we want to do our bit to support the people that are in need.

“I feel very passionately about both of the charities and we as a club will be doing everything we can to raise as much money as we possibly can for both of them.

“Having our final game dedicated to Liam is a perfect way of remembering him, we will make sure we pay the best tribute to him and hopefully we can round the season off in style.”
