Richard Horne is looking forward to being back at the Keepmoat Stadium this weekend.

The Dons return home for the first time in more than two months, and the head coach believes it will benefit them.

He said: “We’ve made no secret of the fact that the pitch at the Keepmoat suits the way we want to play.

“It makes a difference and psychologically for the boys they all love playing there, it will be good to see how we go.

“Home form is always key for any team so it’s important to be back on our own patch going into the final few games of the season.”

With London Skolars the visitors, Horne wants his players to focus on getting what could prove to be a crucial two points.

He added: “We didn’t give a great account of ourselves the last time we played them, so that is a big motivation for us this weekend.

“We know they can be dangerous if they get close to our line but we want to focus on how we play and where we can hurt them.”
