Back-rower Brad England has signed a new one-year deal with the Dons for the 2020 campaign.

The extension will take England into his fourth season at the Keepmoat Stadium, as the 2018 Player of the Year becomes the latest player to commit to the club.

The 24-year-old is back to full fitness following a difficult 2019, and already can’t wait to get going in pre-season.

He said: “After a disappointing year with injury I’m looking forward to a full pre-season and working hard to get my fitness levels up.

“It’s always been my goal to get promoted with Doncaster and I think with the squad we’re building there is no better chance to do that than in 2020.”

Head coach Richard Horne said: “It will be good for us to get Brad back training in pre-season so he’s fit and strong for the season ahead.

“Having missed the majority of last year, I know he can’t wait to be back on the field and get back to the form he showed in 2018.”
